Baked Cheese Chips

For all those cheese lovers out there, you HAVE to try this! With only 1g net carbs per serving, these are too good to be true.

Makes 24, depending on the size of your portions (about 6 chips for serving)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella

  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Sesame Seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or non-stick silicone baking mat.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, toss together the three cheeses until well combined. If using seasoning, add half of it at this point.

  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture on your baking sheet. Use a teaspoon for smaller, crispier chips or a tablespoon for larger chips, softer chips. Leave about 1 1/2" between your scoops.

  5. Bake for 6-10 minutes or until you've achieved your desired crispiness.

  6. Remove from oven and top with remaining seasoning.

  7. Let them cool on a cooling rack, and enjoy — great alone as a crunchy snack or perfect to serve with a dip.

Tip!

  • The next time you have guests round try servings these instead of regular crackers.

  • These chips are best enjoyed straight away while they're fresh and crunchy. If you have some left over place them in an airtight container and store in the fridge.

  • Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and seasonings, but preferably a kind that melts nicely and firms up when cooled. Mixing some Parmesan will achieve that.
